Hi everyone,

I have applied sponsorship for my parents, and I am currently reside in Quebec. I have met all the criteria. I am getting a job offer to go to BC (Vancouver), but I still want my parents come to Quebec. Does it hurt my parents case if I move to Vancouver for work? I have called CIC and they told me that as long as you still meet the income requirement for quebec then it is fine no matter that income comes from Vancouver or Quebec. I have also called CSQ and they said the same, but they say you might need to send us a letter when you start your CSQ stating that why you are in BC and when you are coming back.

I have read the CSQ document for sponsorship, and no where I saw that they say you have to stay in Quebec while your application is in progress.

Can anyone else here has some comments/suggestions that I can use? will moving out to BC wil hurt my application?

P.s: I have property here in Quebec which I will be renting it out, and use this property to be my residential address.

Thanks in advance,

So, how it went after you moved to BC? Did it cause any problem to the application?
