Hi, Wanted to take inputs from all with Express Entry knowledge. I have LMIA approved job offer from Quebec. Can I apply for PR through express entry? Is the process going to be different because job offer is from Quebec? Thanks!
 
You can apply for PR through Express Entry - however I believe you won't qualify for the additional 600 job offer points since your job is in Quebec.

However, I believe you can apply directly for Québec at any time if you have a job offer.
 
Nope, Quebec has its own immigration rules so you cannot pass by EE. But you can apply in Mon Projet as cap extempt applicant and you will proceed their part and then paperwork part on Federal side.
 
Yes, that's the best way as you will be cap exempt.

you can absolutely apply and get 600 points as I did, however you need a letter from your employer if they can offer permanent job in Toronto. So the LIMIA approval definitely has a federal approval, however you need to write a letter of explanation with intend to move to non-quebec territory.

no additional points in EE if you have a quebec job offer. However you can apply for quebec immigration program however you must demostrate your intentions to reside in quebec. Moving after getting a momination could create problems if you try to become a citizen later on! Government is revoking citezenship for misrepresentation.
 
the process of getting LMIA approval involves service canada approval and verification too, so if you have a job offer in quebec with valid LMIA you can get 600 points.

Hi , I have permanent fulltime NOC O job with Positive LMIA In Montreal . Working since March 2020 on closed work permit 2 yrs .
Now for extension ,My employer has again applied for new LMIA to get new work permit . I recently got to know from immigration lawyers that is nit a valid job offer and I can’t claim any points . Also, my employer has also denied to provide me this valid offer. I am confused what a valid offer is.
How can I qualify under CEC express entry?
I currently have 465 points and waiting for ITA.
pls share your inputs.

Are you planning on relocating outside of Quebec? CEC will really only work for you if you plan to do that and can provide IRCC with evidence of that once they ask.

I have asked my employer for an internal transfer.
if they don’t , then I have to find externally ,but Since new employers will have to file new LMIA and work permit , I am not getting any positive response from then either .
so waiting for CEC PR because it will open my status in Canada.
can you please confirm if I can claim points for valid offer ?
If not , then what is exactly a valid job offer ?

Sorry, I'm not sure since the job is in Quebec.
