I have accepted (15th Feb, 2017) in PhD program at McGill University from Fall 2017. They offered me minimum of $21000 plus tuition and fees.

1. Can my spouse accompany me with this funding?
2. What kind of visa should she apply for?

The immigration docs I required are:

a. A Certification d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) from the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion, Québec
b. A study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada

Please suggest me my immediate course of action.

1. No. that fees are only for you, if you want to travel with your wife you must show at least CAD32000
2. visa as estudiant allow your partner work full time and you part time.

a. do you live in Quebec? if you are goint to start these year you can apply only left one year to finish your studies
b. That is the visa you need
