Quebec CSQ Applicants from Pakistan who applied after Nov 2010 BIQ Hongkong

I would like to start this new thread for all those applicants for Quebec CSQ from Pakistan who applied in or after November 2010 through BIQ Hongkong.

I applied for CSQ in November 2010 and received AOR within two weeks. Since then it has been two and half years and I have not received anything yet. Now I can see applications are being moved from Hongkong to Montreal which means further delay should be expected.

Anyone else from Pakistan who applied in late 2010 or early 2011 and still waiting for the update please share your timeline.

You should be getting interview call or CSQ soon as I applied in Nov 2010 and got CSQ last month. It took exactly four years.

Last month I received: Verification des documents produits e-mail from MIDI.
Kindly confirm, do you get CSQ directly or with interview.

We received email from MIDI in Nov 2014 stating that "Nous vous informons que votre dossier est en attente d’une décision. Nous communiquerons de nouveau avec vous lorsqu’une décision sera prise."

"We inform you that your case is awaiting a decision. We will communicate with you again when a decision is made."

And after this email within one month we received CSQ without any interview.

Now applied for PR, application received at CIO on 22nd Dec 2014. Waiting for AOR or any other update from CIO.

Yes, when you receive en attente de decision, there is 80% chance of getting csq without interview.
But when you get " verification des documents produits " I don't know what is the meaning,
50% of people who got it , were later invited for interview while others got csq.
I got it and I'm still waiting, don't know if I will be invited for interview or not...
The most painful part is that there will be interview in my country in February and March,
I am not on waiting list for interview, after this particular one, no one knows when the next interview will be.

What was your level of french? Single or married applicant? Do you submitted french certificate i.e. DELF etc?

To be honest with you I dont remember point calculation as it was four years ago ;D

We are married couple with two kids. Both kids are under 12. I and my wife both work so I dont think we had any problem meeting minimum points requirement.

No french at all. Therefore we did not submit any french certificate. Though we sent IELTS to claim points for English.

What is your and wife's occupation & Area of Training? and what was your IELTS score?
I am also a married applicant with one child below 12. I have Delf A2 French certification.

IELTS 7.5

We both are software developers.

Well I was worried that zero french knowledge would be a problem as per new rules. However at the time of application is was not required. So I guess they processed the application as per the rules at the time of application.

While you already have french knowledge so you should be ok.
