Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

looking at the table most of the people nearly 7 month
form me nearly 7 month passed and nothing yet :'( :'(

They asked us at the embassy not to contact them before 8 months. Once it reaches this period from when they sent the medical then you can send them daily emails until they reply.
Moon has all the right to do it since it has exceeded the 8 months period

it means that the second half of 2011 and all 2012 and the first semester of 2013 ,all these times r delay

he is waiting for more than the 8 month time line
and still no visa and i don't know how long we
have to wait more this is killing me
and still no thing from Romania no news

They never said that you will get your visa after 8 months. All they said is not to contact us before 8 months.The point is that they should have replied to Moon and canadian citizen,after they sent emails asking for update.

i mean that there is no time for the visa the 8 month is not fixed and that
u will get the visa after that time and as u refereed to moon he passed the 8 month
and no visa yet and for this reason this killing me

It's an old article.
It was done for people who applied before february 2008. Their files were closed and they got applications refund, no decision has been made for them.
This is why the backlog was reduced and files started being processed faster

Guys its good to join the discussion. I am also an applicant whose file was moved from Damascus to Beirut and then Bucharest. I agree with Tarek, this is the reason for the delay. I recently read an article about how much immigrants Canada still needs as they have an ageing population. As for the 8 months period to receive the visa after medicals, this is what my lawyer told me and he is one of the best certified immigration lawyers in Canada.

my dear Canada is a big country and its population is very very very little if we compare with its superfice and another countries
so they need more and more ,dont believe that
