No, even Amman's office is sleeping or something!! I've done my medical exam May 23, and until now there is nothing! My ecas shown "Medical results have been received". and that's it!
However, I'm so optimistic that before Christmas I'm getting my visa enshallah :)

May I ask you when they started processing your application please? I am going to send my application tomorrow inshallah to the CIO in Sydney then it will be sent to Amman office. I don't know how long it is going to take to be sent there. The processing times for Amman office is 43 months according to the CIC website. I want to know if these processing times are accurate or not. I need someone to give me some hope and tell me that it is not really going to take this long.

Guys, I want to send my application by Aramex but they need the phone number of the CIO in Sydney, NS. I can only find the call center number. Do you think I can use it as the CIO number? Does anyone have any other number? Thanks in advance.

I guess on going tensions in the middle east, a war in Syria and bombs in Lebanon is not enough...but a Typhoon is.

Dear friend
i am sorry to tell you this is the first time amman office has esimated time other than this sign (-) so this is accomplish for us. last update from embassy they are processing july 2010 applicants on that base 43 month is normal i hope they do not increase it next time. still people of 12/2010 did not receive their medical so it is very long waiting queue .

So I think I'd better go to sleep for four years before asking about the status of my application :( Sometimes I feel afraid that they may repeat what they did with the pre 2008 applications when they all were rejected.

I don't think that will happen again (the rejection in 2008). But I'm open to all possibilities though. Unfortunately, the embassy seems to b very disorganized, and disorganized things are capable of doing negative changes. I've just known that the waiting time in Amman is 43. I ain't think is the true processing time. At least not to all files, I'm 38 months, and yet still waiting4my med and I don't think will receive the visa in the 43rd month. 8)

submit, your case might be finalized faster since you live in Syria, they might declare priority like Philippines ;)

Oh my God, that does not make me optimistic at all :(

Lemans, I don't think Syrians are lucky like Filipinos. The problems in Syria started almost three years ago. If they really wanted to fast track Syrian cases, they would have done this a long time ago. I even learned that they put them on hold for a while.

Hi to all,

just i want to make sure regarding the claim of 3 points for the family member in Canada.

my brother in law (brother of my wife) he's a permanent resident in Montreal, can i claim 3 points or not especially that in the evaluation for QSW they mention"Est-ce que vous ou votre époux ou conjoint de fait avez un parent au Québec qui est citoyen canadien ou résident permanent ?"
if you or your spouse has family in Quebec.

please expert i need your advice.

Jimmy.
