Dear Colleagues,
wish you a good day from Egypt, i have a question for you and hope to get an answer, for the federal pert and starting of 2012 most of immigration files are being processed in CPP- Ottawa. so how you are sure that your files are processed in Beirut office? for us in Egypt the processing time for the federal part is 14 month however our files are not processed in Egypt so far, it is processed in CPP Ottawa which its processing time 12 month. i am just trying to figure out how long we will wait>

they mention that in our E-cas Status from 22 February 2012m, our files transfered from damascus to Beirut Visa Office!!

Thanks moon82, i see now. so it may be depend on the region cause i know also that application from Gulf area are being processed in Abu Dhabi office.

yes i don't know what's the role of Otawa office..i have friends they applied from Romania and the federal part is procedded from Bucharest, but this year some of files are proceeded in Otawa, others in Bucharest, but no one knows why. :'(

DISAC have u any relatives in Canada , in federal part and u have applied for Quebec?? Couse i met other cases , applied for federal , and they have relatives in Canada federal part. All of them were transfered in Otawa. I am not sure that this is the reason.

I have many relatives in canada especially in quebec and im still waiting from 34 months and my file transfered to Beirut VO, so that Isnt a reason!

I got AOR on Jan 12/2012 from Damascus VO. I don't know where is my file now (Beirut or Amman) and I am not able to check the E-cas status. Wanna to know how long after AOR it should appear online.

i think you mix up . your visa office is cairo but your medical may be comes from ottawa i read about it in other forum so you will follow cairo office time 14 months

It may have to do with the back log...maybe they are splitting the files and sending some to Ottawa for processing. I actually live in Ottawa, so I'll try to find out.

Once in Quebec with PR, If one wants to transfer from Quebec to the English federal part. How can he do it ?? Apply an Application ??? or what ??

Wallah someone told me the PR is written Quebec only ;D on the other side.

I know if you move to federal youll loose social security xxxxx dont know what.coz my aunt in alberta,

double check with some1 else.

but why do u want federal, i dont like the english places, it will b like dubai /usa/australia, min kel wedi 3asa hehehe el culture .
