Hi,

I'm planning to send my application this month.
Got returned twice already so I hope this time it will go through.

When are you planning to apply?

@ jazv4,

Dear, what was the reason for getting your application returned twice? :o

Best Regards!

For the changes they've been doing...
I sent my application in Dec with toefl but by the time it got there and got opened they have changed the language requirements so they just wanted IELTS so it got returned the first time with a letter asking me to submit IELTS.

i took the exams and send it the second time. Then, It was a problem with my DELF. I sent a notarized copy of the diploma and the original attestation de resultats becuase I didn't want to lose my original certificate so it got returned again becuase they wanted the original

By now, my DELF is too old for them (I took the DELF when I was learning french just so I could have some proof, not for immigration purposes so i didi it a while ago) so I had to take eTEFAQ and I'm waiting for the certificate to arrive so I can send it again.

Hi All,

It seems I meet the point system except that I don't have french where I read that i can enroll for french course while the application is in process.

Now my question is can I apply from Dubai, as it seems they accept applications from people who are in Canada only?

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/applications-receipt.html

Please advice if what i understand is correct? I see alot of people applying here, are all outside Canada?

Quick info about my self I'm a master graduate in information management and bachelors in computer science with 8 years of experiences as system analyst ( 2171) 32 years old with 2 kids under 6 years age.

Please advice?

I'm applying too but as far as I'm aware you can apply from anywhere (in or outside Canada) as long as you meet the point system and you're area of training allows you to score at least 6 points. Then, you just need to submit your application to you regional visa office.

As for myself, I'm applying from outside Canada.

On regards to your question about French, you can certainly enroll in a french course while you're applying - I guess it will help in the interview-. However, you won't get any points if you don't submit your certificates.

Hello Friends.

I am also planning for the same.

Just getting all the documents in place.

i will be applying from India
Can anyone suggest

1) if we can send the notarized copies of Academic Documents instead of True certified copy. it would be time consuming for me to getting true copies from UK.

2) Can i submit french language test at a later stage. i am getting 57 without french thou.

Thanks.

all the best

Hi ,
I am Raman from Mumbai . I am interested in applying for quebec immigration but i have some doubts i hope my doubts will be cleared here in this forum .

My Profile
B. E in computer Science = 10 points
Area of Training = 6 Points (Section C)
Age 29 = 16 points
Exp =50 months = 8 points
IELTS = 6 (Speaking 7.5 Bands and listening 8 bands )
French A1 = 1 ( low score in speaking )
Financial Stablity =1
my total points 10+6+16+8+6+1+1= 48

I am short of one point

My spouse critera

Age = 3 points
education B.com = 2 points ( Immigration consultant told me that Quebec gives 2 points to Indian Education system Graduation studies ) is it true ?
area of traianig =2 points
french = will appear

her and my total points 48 +7 =55

so we are short of 2 points so if she score 2 points in A1 then i can apply with her or either i give A2 exam

My questions .

1 Can apply with 48 points ? will my application wil lbe processed ?
2 . how much points will be awarded to me if i pass my A2 level exam
3. Is Indian B.com gradute gets 2 points instead of 3 points for gradutation degree ?

please reply on these question

System won't let me update links.
But you can go to the MICC quebec and look for the apps below. there might be more depending on your case. but those are the ones I'm using for my application.

Application for Selection Certificate (A-1520-AA)
Application for Selection Certificate – Skilled Worker – Principal applicant, spouse or de facto spouse (A-0520-AA)
Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency (A-0522-OA)

Hope it helps.

Some one gave me a tip and I took it. When sending any copies of any documents, either pay to get several original copies or go back to the same institution that gave you the document and ask them to certify it.

I Ja, it just took me a couple hours to get the photocopies of our passports certified by PICA. At the university, the Registrar certified the copies of our degrees and diploma the SAME day.
For the birth certificates, we went back to the agency that issued them and applied for copies. So I applied for 5 copies of each persons birth certificate.

Transcripts were original and came directly from the schools who issued them.

Save yourself the time and get original where possible.

Here we go again.!!! Hopefully it won't get returned this time
