Hi everyone,
I was finally able to send my documents to VO Kuala Lumpur today by DHL :) after waiting for more thn 3 months for PCCs even though one is still missing. I am a quebec selected applicant. Got my CSQ in July dated end of June. As per the visa office, application for quebec applicants are on an expedited basis which I am hoping will be true. However, since I am not a PR in Malaysia, I guess mine will take a little bit longer. All the bests to everyone...

Hi, I am from Afghanistan pursuing MBA in Bangalore INDIA, I sent my application to Hong kong in 9th of october and received in 12th of October (delivered by DHL) When am i going to get my file Number? As Afghanistan, India Pakistan and other countries are covered by the Bureau of immigration hong kong then where am i going to appear for interview in Hong kong or New Delhi? Please answer my question and do provide me the necessary time-lines. Thanks.

Hi Canadalover2010,
About the interview, i guess it will be in New Delhi since u r already in India. I did not have an interview though. I received my CSQ through mail in less than 4 months but in my opinion, it might take like 6-9 months for HK office to process an application. Hope it helps.

Hi Shahzad,
I am planning to send my application by the end of this month. Requesting you to help me solving this queries.

Do we need to send PCC along with initial application to Hong Kong office or at the later stage to CIC.

How much money is to be paid for fees for 2 persons? (Is it CAD 390 + 150) apart from CIC fees for (550*2 for RPRF)

I am not having birth certi for my wife. My in-laws have misplaced it somewhere. Can I submit her school Leaving Certi as a proof of age instead of birth certi.?

No Pcc req for getting CSQ..later for federal stage needed.

I guess your right..may be others will verify.

Yup u can send other proof if birth certificate is lost..need to explain in the cover letter.

Shahi

Hi mkshah,
Shahi has explained everthg. u need to pay only $CAD 390 + $150 for time being. When u applied for federal after getting CSQ, then u pay the CIC fees. About the birth certificate and other things that u can't provide or is not clear , u write a cover letter to them. I wrote one which was about two pages and also make a checklist of documents u r sending attached with ur application. Make it easy for them and i guess they will appreciate it.
