qualifying for sponsorship?

greetings! my SO and I are talking about the prospect of him sponsoring me (hes canadian, Im american) and he has some concerns about the process, the main being financial support for me. We intend on marrying when he is done with college, in about two years from now. Issue is, he wont have much of a job, and will be going onward to university. What are the minimum qualifications for him sponsoring me? we are both very frugal, and I have a bit of a nest egg as well Ive been working towards. We simply dont want to wait til we are 30

Good news for you! He doesn't need a job to sponsor you! He just needs to show that either him or you, are able to show that you won't be going on welfare or social assistance! Isn't that great? And even better, you're American, it's super easy to be sponsored from that country because it's an affluent country!
