Start by reading ALL the information/links on the Immigration Quebec website: there are very few questions that aren't answered .

If you wish to get points for French, you need to take an approved exam (list in link below) & reach at least B2 level.
If you wish to get points for English, you need to take IELTS exam and reach CLB level 5.
Note that you can apply without taking the exams, or with lower scores, but you won't get points for language in those cases.

Find how many points you score there: that corresponds to the number of points on the "domaine de formation" line on the points grid.
