hi, 1 week ago i get a message from my bank mention that th payment for CIC was declined due to insufficient fund. i am wondering now what will be happen. they will try again onother day or they will send my file back? if yes i hava to wait again 4-5 month ?

please anybody can advise

They will return your documents. If you want you can apply again but rules as on the date your new application will reach there will be applicable. This was happened to me too.

Was the payment for the federal part after CSQ (CIC) , or is it the payment for CSQ (MIDI) ,.....

Something similar happened to me in 2012. CC got declined because at that moment CC got cloned so I had to cancel it and get a different number.

Usually, the procedure is that they send the whole application back. However, in my case They took the documents, gave me the file number and asked me to update payment info. Once it got done, they send me AOR and the payment receipt.

Unfortunately, that depends on the BIQ and specific case officer, so hopefully they will do the same for you so you don't lose your place in the 6500.

Yes, you have to wait until your file returns, because it is specified on the website that if the credit card is declined they wont notify for payment update and they will return the file. Maybe years ago they asked to update the form of payment but nowadays the don´t and they return the file, as soon as you get it back, update the info and make sure you have enough funds, call your credit card to make sure they wont decline the payment.

You should send another application .
It will take some time for your package to come back and you will loose precious time, Do not wait?
