Dear Qorax,
My time line is mentioned below:
My VO - London
Applied as a "Cook"
Initial application received by CIC: 7th April 2011
Medical request: 26th September 2011
Medicals done: 13th October 2011 & subsequently updated in the Ecas stating "Medicals results have been received".
Status in the ecas as of 10th June 2012: "In Process"
My solicitor sent a case specific enquiry to the London VO on 21st May 2012, and got a response from the VO stating " the file is currently awaiting officer review". Will get back to you if any additional documents are required".
Till date haven't heard from them and it is nearly 8 months after the medicals were completed.
Question is: Can I approach the VO directly surpassing my agent because I am not quite happy with my agent's approach - As it is rightly mentioned in the forum that they merely act as "courier guys".
2. I requested my agent to apply for Caips notes since the agent is based in Canada - They told me would charge $150 for the same. Is there any other cheapest way to apply for Caips notes myself.
Your response to my queries would be very much appreaciated. - No clue as to why there is so much delay??
Regards
GSM
