With OINP being paused, looks like I have to get an LMIA to continue to work. However, as a new grad, my wage will never reach the medium. But I know there is a low wage LMIA option. Here I got some questions:
1. Will CIC use the provincial min. wage as the criterion or my city's wage? My city has an insanely high min. wage than provincial one's. Even though the data are from 2013-2014...
2. For job advertising, my company had posted my job on some job search websites and company's website for a couple months before I was hired. Does this count as job advertising?
3. If the city's min. wage is used as a criterion and my employer has to increase my salary, does my employer have to advertise the job again?
Has any new grad in this forum got an LIMA successfully? Appreciated if you can share your experience!
