Qatar clearance

My husband is in Sri Lanka. he lived in Qatar for five years. he needs to get the clearance, he already sent out the application for it its been two months no reply. How can we fasten the process?

Hi, here is what i found....

f you live outside Qatar

You can:

return to Qatar to apply for the police certificate; OR
send a representative on your behalf to apply for the police certificate; OR
obtain the certificates from a Qatari embassy or consulate by providing the application documents listed below.

Required documents:

a copy of the passport that you used in Qatar;
a copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar;
a copy of your current passport (if applying at a Qatari embassy or consulate);
a copy of your current valid residence permit (if applying at a Qatari embassy or consulate);
a fingerprint form;
two photographs; and
30 Qatari Riyal (fees are subject to change).

I think that you need to be patient for a bit more and wait for it. Or if you husband is really worried he should contact them for an update if its possible.

Keep the emails/letters/reminders as evidence and if you don't receive it within stated time, just inform your Visa Office ( with copies of your correspondence with Qatari Authorities) that you are unable to get it.

Finally my husband got his Qatar clearance. He applied in September 2014 and go it in january 2015.

Check the issue date you have exactly 3mths from that date to have the application received by CIC in Mississauga.

what you mean? I already sent out the applicaion and we received the Qatar Clearance after. We are just going to wait till they ask us to submit the clearance.

I'd send it right away rather than wait for the request because it will more than likely delay the process. More senior members can correct me, but I believe you do not have to wait for them to request it as long as you have the file number.

MY APPLICATION IS STILL IN MISSISAUGA i DONT HAVE ANY FILE NUMBER YET. THEY DIDN'T EVEN OPEN MY PACKAGE YET.

Then unfortunately, you will have to wait and hope it doesn't expire before you are issued a request for it. When you do, I'd request the fastest delivery possible as they would need your file number to know who it belongs to.

I have the qatar clearance but I am afraid it will expire by the time they ask for it. I have just send my application for sponsorship on december 10. So they are now working on applications received on October 21, 2014. I am just not happy. What if it expires. I am all stressed out now. I did attached the sri lankan clearance and medical with the application but I have qatar clearance only after I send in the application. but by the time they request it i am afraid it will expire.

I understand your frustration as we are in a similar situation. What's the issue date on the certificate? Our application was sent in October and we hoped that we'd receive SA before the police check expired, but processing times have just increased to 85 days today and we can't really wait any longer. What we did is request a temporary file number from Mississauga (usually a number beginning with XF). They gave us this number even though at the time they hadn't officially opened the application. Maybe you can try that? Do you or your partner have a UCI number? That should also help them attach the certificate to the right file. I know it's risky and very stressful, but what else can you do? Does anyone know when they will ask for the clearance if it is not included on the application. I sent the application on dec 10 2014. in february they will give the file number. after that what is the process how long it will take.
