Its about the honeymoon question. What exactly do they considered a "Honeymoon"?

Situation: When my husband was here he stayed the whole time at my residence. so basically we were together 24/7. then before the wedding we decided to have our honeymoon on an earlier date since he was leaving 3 days after the wedding. So we went out of town for 1 day only since we need to get back to continue organizing our wedding.

Question: Is that considered as a Honeymoon? We only had 1 trip out of town but it was before the wedding.

PS: Should i put No and explain on the box that we stayed together all throughout his stay here?

Probably not. However a honeymoon is only a significant factor in some cultures. I have been married twice, and in neither event did we have a honeymoon. This appears to have not been raised as an issue during my application. In fact, it wasn't even noted by the VO.
if your culture expects/demands that a honeymoon be undertaken, then it might be a "red flag"... otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

I am really confuse on what to answer in the form. So i guess Honeymoon would mean out of town after the wedding then.
Can i ask if you explained on your form why you didnt have a Honeymoon?

Sure... We didn't have a honeymoon because for the first marriage we were not exactly wealthy... and for the second marriage, my wife had to return to Canada so that she could be sponsored by me to come to the UK as a resident :) (This second bit, we actually put on the application form).

Honeymoon, by all definitions that I have seen is post-marriage, not pre...

I married my American husband and we didn't have a honeymoon, simply because we couldn't afford it. We stayed together at a hotel while he was here visiting me, and we spent the whole time together. On the form I said No, we didn't have one and explained that 1. we couldn't afford it, 2. we had to get back to work, and 3. that we were going to have a 'honeymoon' a couple months later when I flew down to visit him. Again, not really a 'real' honeymoon just a week visiting him in the states. I'm sure it won't be a problem with yours if a honeymoon isn't a significant thing in your culture.

Thanks. to my culture, i am actually not sure if its that important. As i have known some people getting married having a honeymoon or some not having one. But to us aslong as we are together we are both happy, doesnt matter if we go to trips or not :p being with him all day is enough.

I guess i should answer No. and explain the reason why we didn't.

Yeah that's what I figured as well :) We didn't need to spend up to 4k on a trip we didn't need to go on! As long as you explain you both decided not to have one and didn't feel it was necessary, and are happy, I am sure they won't care! Just add lots of pictures of the wedding :)

Well I actually took a very casual approach with adding the photos. I added about three to each page in a word document, big enough to see clearly, but not too large, and wrote a short description underneath them (ie. where it was taken, when, and who is it in). I probably included ~30 photos, some printed in colour and some in black and white.

Nah, I included maybe 3 actual printed photos but the rest are just printed on normal paper. Definitely include what you think is necessary, I think my app is a bit too casual to be honest!
