Hello there! I want to ask for some help. I live in Russia (Im F19) and I’ve been in a long distance relationship with a Canadian (M20) for about 2 years, and we finally are able to meet up (couldn’t before because of Covid). I want to apply for a visitor visa, and I need a purpose of travel letter for it, and I would like some advice.
I will be staying with my partner, we’re not too sure about for how long - originally we wanted to do it for 6 months but I’ve been told that might make the visa officers suspicious that I won’t leave the country, but we would like to stay together for as long as possible. When it comes to ties to my home country, I own 1/6 of an apartment, have a part-time job and family here, and I have a bit of travel history (Egypt, some countries in Europe with a visa). Our plan is to see how we work in real life and, if everything goes well, we were gonna get married and then after my return to Russia I was going to apply for immigration.
So my question is, what would be the best way to write my purpose of travel letter? Do i mention that we’re together, or will that seem suspicious too? What do I say about the length of my stay if 6 months is too long? How do I make it more believable that I’ll return to my home country?
PS. I know the odds of me getting a visa aren’t very high but me and my partner want to try whatever is possible, please if possible just let me know what you would recommend even if you don’t think it will make much of a difference. Thank you :)
Also if anyone has any stories about them meeting their partner with similar circumstances and you have advice about that in general, I’d love to hear it too

Is there a reason why you have started another thread, asking the same question? If you need a reminder, on Thursday you wrote:

Member @scylla gave you some solid advice in that thread. If not satisfied with that advice, then say so and ask for more input, but starting multiple threads is not helpful.

If I understand the additional facts provided in this thread, namely, you are 19 years old and he's 20, and your relationship has subsisted for 2 years, then you met online at ages 17 and 19. I would be very surprised if you were granted a visa at all, never mind for 6 months. Asking for 6 months will suggest you are in no rush to return home and would prefer to be with your bf. Moreover, it sounds like you don't have much of a bank balance (his does not count) or a job that amounts to a strong reason to return home. Leaving a recently-obtained part-time job does not suggest a strong attachment to the workforce.

But, the IRCC works in mysterious ways, so no one can say for sure what the outcome will be, if you apply.
In this thread I specifically asked on how to write the purpose of travel letter, the other one was a general one asking for help. I apologize that they seem the same, I provided the same information so that people that see this thread and not the other can know the background. I wanted an example of a purpose of travel letter here, but if I did something wrong by posting similar things twice, I will remove the thread if possible. I’m sorry.

Okay, I will make sure to do that. Thank you for telling me, I’ve never used forums before so I appreciate your advice. Have a good day/night!

Your chances of a TRV being approved are already quite low given your age, lack of funds, and lack of ties. Requesting a six month visit will probably guarantee refusal. Indicate a 2-3 week visit in your letter.

The IRCC probably will already have an idea you’re applying to see a significant other . Leaving for six months , spending a ton of money to travel to Canada . Leaving work . This application would have more red flags than the May Day Parade in Moscow
Even if you don’t mention the BF , why stay in Canada for six months ?
And what type of job gives you leave for six months when you’ve just started ?
Plus meeting someone one time and then getting hitched ? Another immigration flag
