Hello Guys,

I have just received a interest for OOPNP and they told me to contact Ontario. I'm sitting at 443 and I am going to reappear for IELTS next week and I have every single chance to improve my score and easily cross the barrier of 450. Should I go for OOPNP or wait for the next draws?

Well I would always suggest to accept what has come your way in life. Because there are many instances IELTS scores dont come up to your expectations! and secondly socres may not go below 450 in 2015. While in 2016 there might be revisions in Express Entry. And lastly It just cost you $1500 to accept the OONP. which is not a big deal to earn while you are in CANADA. why think so much.just accept it. You have 45 days to submit the Documents, meanwhile you will also know the scores will drop or not. But let me tell you Never say No to an opportunity which knocks your door. I am here with 438 and not getting PT while.many others with 401 also have got the invitation. There are people with 449 waiting for the scores to go down since 6 months or more! Even a single Rank means a long way to go. What are you waiting for? Its a sincere suggestion please accept it r you may never get it again.

Can you share your NOC. So many of us are waiting for the invite.

Personally, I would advise you to gather all your documents for Ontario, be ready to submit and just wait.

If your IELTS scores push you high up enough and you get ITA before Ontario submission deadline...good for you.

Otherwise, send the Ontario application on its way!

Agree with bestofluck. Atleast start preparing your documents. You have 45 days to respond. In the meantime appear for IELTS and gather your results which is 21 days. If your scores improve then you will get an ITA in the subsequent draw. If not then go for OINP.

Exactly. And we have seen people waiting for ITA with 449 . Atleast this is a sure way to get ITA within 90 days. whats a big deal. No one should wait and accept the OONP.

Well I am somewhat glad that Ontario is still issuing PT's and haven't exhausted their quota for this year ;D

Thank you for your valuable suggestions, I was thinking the same to apply under OOPNP, though still I have 45 days to think about it. I have sudied in ontario and leasing an apartment plus my company has branch over there too. My NOC is 2211, what documents I ll need? Do I need medicals and PCC?

Medicals and PCCs are not required for OOPNP application.
