Hi everyone,

I need some opinions, I need to apply for a PRTD from Turkey, (meet all requirements) I can't get my first physical card in time due to Covid but I need to leave Canada in September for essential travel) once I submit the application how long does this usually take? I'm having the hardest time finding even a rough estimate... Just need to know it won't take 3-6 months or something rediculous as we will need to go to Turkey and return to Canada 3.5 weeks later.

It's always better to wait until you have your PR card to travel because processing times vary widely. If you apply the day you arrive in Turkey, you could get it back in a few days, or it could take well over a month.
