I was supposed to travel back to Canada on March 6 but misplaced my PR card.
I applied for PRTD on March 6.
However, I found my PR Card on March 8 and I submitted a web form to IRCC to cancel my PRTD application on the same day (since they don't give you a withdraw button on your PRTD application).
As luck would have it, I received my passport submission letter for PRTD soon after my withdrawal request on the same day!
Now my dilemma is, can I use my current PR Card to travel back to Canada or, do I have to go through the PRTD process by submitting my passport and then apply for a PR card again in Canada?
(Note: I have booked a passport submission appointment in the nearest VFS office just to be safe.)
