My CRS score is around 449. I hold a masters in psychology with 3 years of work ex. My spouse is a PhD with more than 5 years or work experience. We have been thinking of applying for the provincial nomination but the requirements aren't clear. In particular, most provinces look for an employment offer from the province or some sort of a mechanism whereby one can establish a tie to the province. Is that accurate? Is there a way to get a provincial nomination for a skilled worker who has no present job offers in one of the provinces? Aside from getting a better score in IELTS, is there a way to improve one's CRS score?
