Hello,
I have a question about the Provincial Nominee Programs. I would like to apply under the SINP (Saskatchewan Experience Category, existing work permit sub-category). My employer supports me. I am a little bit confused because everyone has told me that the PR application would be way faster if done through provincial nomination (8-13 months). Now I read on the CIC website under "Processing times for provincial nominee applications" that it will be over 20 months. I am confused because that doesn't sound like it goes any faster than usual. Any experiences?
Furthermore, what happens when you finally receive your PR? Do you have to stay with your employer or in your province for a certain amount of time because you have been nominated through the Provincial Nominee Program? Or are you free to work wherever you want and move to a different province. That is not my intention, but maybe at one point I would like to switch.
Thank you for your help and advice!
