The current Federal draw was 457 and that's the benchmark till the next draw. You need to figure out your CRS score on the CIC website. If your score is 455 and above, you do qualify for a federal draw. Somehow, your CRS doesn't go above 450, you should go for PnP.

Hey, thank you so much for your response. Would you mind helping me for PNP for Ontario/ Alberta. We are yet to create our express entry profile. Also we are doing the basic homework and exploring the options whether to go by express entry or by PNP. Till now what I have understood is that we can start on PNP process before or after creating our express entry profile. Would you please help us ?

Sure I can but can you just update me if you and your spouse have taken IELTs, if yes, the score and got your ECA done and checked your Pre CRS scores on the cic website.

Yes, you may start and apply directly to the provinces if you have these :
1. Job in either of the province
2. Education either of the province
3. Adaptability for some of the province.

First two options are important to have applied directly to the province and EE profile is not required to get at first. If not, you need to create your EE profile first.

Note: In both the streams, you require IELTs and ECA report first hand.
