Hello Everyone,

I need some advice on what should I do next in regards to immigration. My profile is somewhat like this:

May-2019 - Arrived in Canada on study permit
Aug-2020 - Complete studies
Sept-2020 - Applied for work permit
Dec-2021 - Received PGWP
May-2023 - Received WP extension from government
Oct-2024 - Work permit expiration

During this I have gained over 3 yrs of work experience in NOC B (22221)

My CRS score is 467 with experience and IELTS.

My Express entry profile says that I am eligible for CEC and Foreign skilled worker stream.

CEC is going too high for me get ITA.

Is there a way I can apply for work permit extension or new open work permit?

Note: My employer will only provide offer letter/letter of employment. They will not fill the employer form that could help me in submit OINP International student job offer stream

You are not eligible for OINP student stream because you needed to have graduated within last 2 years. If you want to continue working, you need a LMIA from employer. The employer pays for a LMIA proving that no Canadian or PR can be hired with your work experience, language skills and education. Then you apply for closed work permit. Given changes to LMIA make sure it is high skilled and high paying.
