hi everyone, i was wondering, if it is necessary to provide additional information, such as providing list of:when my sponsor met my friends and family, and how many people attended the wedding etc..would the processing be delayed if such attachments are not provided? an immigration consultant said its better to provided it on the interview, but isn't an interview possible to bypass? thanks for your answers!looking forward to them.....

It's best to send as much proof as you can along with your original application. Any info re: meeting family, wedding celebrations, many photos from different time periods, photos with family members and friends, stuff like that. If you send enough in, you won't need an interview! That's really poor advice you've gotten, having to have an interview adds a lot of time to the whole process as well as a lot of stress!!!

You're absolutely right (and I think your consultant is providing very bad advice). Provide as much supporting documentation as you can with the original package and hopefully you won't need an interview. We submitted the following in my husband's package relating to our wedding:

- shower invites
- wedding invites
- wedding program
- a sample of shower and wedding cards received
- list of who attended and their relationship to us
- lots of photos
- detailed budget
- copies of all of the bills
- copy of the photography permit
- copy of the liquor license
- print out of our online registry list
- menu
- bar list
- honeymoon bills, flights, photos
- I'm sure I'm forgetting something...

My husband was approved with no interview.

These are information that should be provided as there is a part of the application that ask you when have your spouse met your family and friends etc
