Hi
Im a inland refugee in canada, i was accepted around September and i applied for my PR since March that i got my Court paperwork, my PR is still processing and i dont have a VOS, as far as i know my status is considered Protected person, my question is can i write a invitation letter to a friend from a visa required country, in order to help for his Visa application. In the cic website it says and i quote

a photocopy of a document proving your status in Canada, such as
  • a Canadian birth certificate, if you were born in Canada,
  • a Canadian citizenship card, if you are a naturalized citizen, or
  • a copy of your PR card or your IMM 1000 proof of landing, if you are a permanent resident.
I as a protected person dont know if i am allowed to write one invitation. Somebody knows about this? I havent seen any firends for more than 2 years and i want to help him get here to visi.
