Hi everyone,
I do not understand how can I provide a proof of work experience to the IRC under FSW if I've been working for the U.S. company remotely, full-time from my home country.
I will provide the reference letter from my employer, and I could fill W8-BEN form for my payor (company) but not able to fill any kind of tax forms such as 1099 (for U.S. residents) and 1042-s for foreign independent contractors (who's also in U.S.) which I am not.
On top of that, My employer and I have never paid any kind of taxes since there's no reason to and IRC doesn't know anything about it. Only I can do is fill W8-BEN if it helps.
So my question is can I just provide the reference letter and W8-BEN?
