Proof of status for eTa

Hi. We’re about to apply for inland sponsorship for my common law partner who is in Canada visiting with her eTa. For the section that requires proof of status and her entrance date, how do we prove that when her passport wasn’t stamped at the border?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Can we just submit her eta number and her airline ticket as proof of date?

Sounds reasonable. An explanatory letter would be also good to add and refer to the ticket and eta number in there.
