my sister is a Canadian PR and I declared that in my application to get 15 additional points. Our parents’ names do not match in our birth certificates, i.e., my father’s name has a typo and my mother’s maiden name is stated on my sister’s birth certificate, but it is correct in my birth certificate.
Father’s name matches in our passports, but mother’s name does not include surname in my sisters passport but it does in my passport.
What is the best way to prove the relationship in such a case? Can I submit copies of our passports with an affidavit stating that my mother’s surname is missing in my sister’s passport and that it is the same person? Do I still need to submit birth certificates with different names and possibly another affidavit stating that my mother had a different name before marriage?
