Hi

If an individuals passport doesn't have US visa or visa of any other country and he only makes 1 trip to his country of origin which can be proved with the help of entry and exit stamps. The passport was stamped when he returned to Canada from his trip.
Is it considered a conclusive proof that the individual was present in Canada for the rest of the period.

Will he still be getting RQ to prove his residence?

Thanks

Its not conclusive nothing really is other than something like being in prison for 3 years where there is a daily head count of the inmates.

How does CIC know you don't have another passport? Also in many countries its easy to bribe immigration officials to future stamp arrival and departure dates so it looks as if you've been absent from Canada for a shorter period than you really have.

You will get RQ'd if you meet the RQ triage criteria e.g. unemployment with travel abroad or if you are randomly selected for program integrity/ quality control purposes. The delay to RQ timeline seems (in the eyes of CIC) be an issue for those who can't wait to get their Canadian Passport and leave Canada ASAP aka applying on the way to the airport.

They ask right in application form whether one has any other citizenship than of the country of origin. So basically they will definitely know if that person has any other passport except the one provided.

Nobody can ever say for sure what exactly triggers RQ. I guess they mostly want to see the applicant's strong ties to Canada and the proof of staying in Canada all the required term (except one trip out) is one of the proofs to the favour of the fast processing without RQ, though if you have a job and a family here that will make your application twice more stronger.
