I am currently in the process to submit my application for the OINP PhD Stream and one of the requirements is to proof residency in Ontario for at least a year in the past two years.
The problem is I do not have a tenant insurance, lease or hydro bill to prove it and Uni did not provide me with paystubs. My phone bill shows my old Ontario address since 2019 but I forgot to update it when I moved to my new address.
I added my T1 of the past three years showing the correct address, Credit Card Statements and T4s. Is this acceptable?
I am freaking out a bit because I don't know whether they will accept it. All my documents, and I mean all, that I submitted in the course of the application show my old and new Ontario address. So there shouldn't be any doubt but I am unsure because it's the government... Has anyone dealt with this before?
