My nephew in India wants to apply for FSW. I am a his aunt (his father's sister) and I am Canadian citizen. Neither me nor my brother has birth certificate. (In old days, they did not issue any birth certificate)

What documents does Immigration canada accept to prove relatioship of brother and sister between his father and me?

This looks tricky, but not impossible. Now you have to think out of the box.

Try to prove that you both are brother and sisters by submitting any other documents like Ration card, Voter ID and any other proof that can say that you both share at least one parent.

and get an affidavit from the Notary with the above stated.

this might help...!!!

Rejections wont happen as such, they would analyse the submitted docs thoroughly, try to furnish the details in an elegant way so that a person at another end would perfectly understand the documents. dont forget to write a cover letter stating the reason for not having the Birth certificate and the given.

All the best...!!!!
