proof of relationship

Hello all,
I am currently working on our outland family class sponsorship forms. I am sponsoring my Danish husband. I am just wondering how much proof we need considering we are married, we live together in Denmark and we have a son together.
I have printed some pictures showing us throughout our relationship. I also have letters form 2 friends confirming that we have a genuine, long lasting relationship. We have our son's birth certificate (he was born in Canada) and our marriage certificate.
I also have evidence showing our joint address here in Denmark.
I am just wondering because we don't have any phone records or letters.

I am hoping the fact that I am here in Denmark with him until we get approval works in our favour.

Thanks for any feedback!

I'm in a similar situation, only I am living with my wife (applicant) in China. We also have a son.

We have all the same evidence you have mentioned, but also health insurance cards (through my work), joint bank account, rental contract, letters from both sides of the family and also from friends, e-mails between my wife and my family in Canada, some chat records, 160 pics, etc...

Your case is extremely strong and you WILL most definitely get the visa quickly, so long as there are no major red flags (criminality, bankruptcy, etc). If none of these apply, expect a very fast processing time for stage 2. Stage 1 is a bit slow at the moment, but it's picking up speed.

Don't worry about it, you're case is pretty much the strongest out there...especially because you have a son together and you have been living together for a while...just make sure to complete the IMM forms correctly and provide all required documents + proof of relationship stuff...

Good luck!

No problem.

You see, having a child is the BEST proof of the genuineness of your relationship. Yes, there have been a few cases (out of tens of thousands) where the sponsor and applicant had a child only to help secure the visa...but that is EXTREMELY rare and probably not even worth mentioning. The VO will not doubt your relationship, and therefore, you should have a faster processing time (not sure if they will speed things up because there is a child involved, even if already a Canadian citizen).

You needn't be concerned. The visa is virtually guaranteed.

Oh, and because you will be applying outland with your husband, make sure that you guys provide substantial and detailed proof of your intentions to return to Canada. Give loads of details! A job offer would be great...or something else on the list provided on one of the sponsor's IMM forms (I forget which one!). I have a job offer, I'm a registered student at a Canadian university, and I have provided a lot of details for a) severing ties with China, and b) what our plans will be once we arrive in Canada (basically a 'things to do' list with a lot of detail).

Thanks!
I was feeling very stressed about this whole thing but your comments have been reassuring. I have a job to go back to when my husband gets his PR and I have a letter from my employer stating when they expect me to return (I am currently on a Maternity-parental leave). Also, my parents have written a letter saying we intend to live with them upon our arrival in Canada, so hopefully that shows our intent to live in Canada.
I just want to get this done!
Thanks again!

If you have any flight bookings together / itineraries / boarding passes etc, that helps too. But, your case sounds strong. :)
