Form IMM-5533 Part B Question 7 asks, a) Are you and your spouse currently living together?
My husband (a U.S. citizen) and I (a Canadian citizen) were married in the U.S. in April while I was there on a tourist visa. Since then, we have spent our time traveling across both the U.S. and Canada careful not to overstay the time allotted to us by border stations on either side.
In short, we are not living together (my home is in Manitoba, and he is a resident of California), though we have been together physically since the marriage took place. Due to that fact, we don't have letters/texts/emails/phone calls/plane tickets supporting communication or visits. As for further documentation, a joint bank account is all that we share together, solely due to not living in the same country.
Any tips or tricks for how to effectively explain our case?
Thank you!
Taylor
