An eligible relative can be ur sibling, grandfather/grandmother, uncle/aunt
the documents are needed only after Invitation to apply
- birthcertificate/ passport to show common parents in case of siblings
- your parents birthcertificates/passport naming ur grandparents as their parents
- your parent's as well as uncle/aunt 's birthcertificate/passport showing common parents
In addition to this ur relative must be a canadian citizen/pr currently residing in canada (citizenship or pr card scanned copy required + proof includes recent phone bill, utility bill, bank statement etc)
Hi,
I would like to seek for assistance. For I am preparing my submission on EE under CEC category.
On my initial application, I answer truthfully that I do have aunt and uncle as citizens in Canada, even though I am not claiming any points under relatives, since I don't qualify for FSW.
So right now, when I am ready for uploading the docs after ITA, the system asks me for proof of relatives. For me, it is just too much trouble to ask my, father, aunt and uncle to have their birth cert and their ID. It's easier to have their Canadian passport, but really hard for birth certificate.
Is there anyway I can do this? For example, still answer "Yes" I have relatives. In the document just include their passport, then write and LOE for why only the passport?
Thanks in advance to all of your help.
