Applying online for a TRV:

Stuck on this part: Proof of Relationship (required)

You must provide proof of your relationship with your host or family member. This can include:

• a marriage certificate
• Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM5409)
• a birth certificate
• an official document naming you as a parent
• a copy of the inside back cover of the inviter's passport showing the inviter's parents, if applicable

Can someone clarify if this is for the proof of relationship ONLY to the host (which could be a friend/family memeber)?

Since I am financially supported by my parents, but my host is covering my stay in Canada, I was thinking of putting government documentation that they are my parents (as well as their passports) in the Proof of Financial Means of Support rather than the Proof of Relationship Section
