Can I photocopy my airline ticket stubs for proof of visitation, or must I inlclude originals? Hotel receipts, love letters, all these types of things? It says under the country specific guidelines to include photocopies but after reading more posts here it seems many send originals.

Same goes for my spouse's national citizenship document: were it in english, they only require a photocopy. Since this had to be translated, MUST I include the original with the affidavit, translation and certified photocopy? This is a hard document to replace, after all. Isn't a notarized, certified photocopy good enough to satisfy their requirements?

I don't want to send original keepakes of our relationship so they end up in a recycling bin...but I don't want to risk anything either. Isn't original photos enough?

You can send photocopies of docs for proof of relationship. Otherwise, they likely will end up in a recycling bin. Many people don't even print 'original' photos, instead opting to print several to a page using Word/PowerPoint/photo program of your choice.

For the national citizenship doc, no need to submit the original. The notarized, certified photocopy of the original + the translation with certified affidavit is sufficient.

The only originals you need to submit are those specifically requested on your Visa Office specific checklist.
