Proof of relation

I am in the process of completing documentation process for EE and need clarity on THE PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP.My dad's uncle's son that is my dad's mother's brother's son is in canada. Is it okay if I show this as the proof of relation and submit all the documents required..will they accept this relation?

Is this for eligibility points? Cousin doesn’t count.

This relative must be a:

• parent
• grandparent
• child
• grandchild
• your or your spouse’s sibling (child of your or your spouse’s parent)
• your or your spouse’s aunt or uncle (by blood or marriage)
• your or your spouse’s niece or nephew (grandchild of your or your spouse’s parent)
