hey there guys ...

I just got my first email response back from CIC and they are requesting documentation which I know I had already sent.

this what they wrote :

" Proof of payment of the processing fees was not included with your application. Refer to the CIC Website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp for detailed instructions on how to pay immigration fees. "

now as I am applying from outside of Canada I had went to the designated Bank and filled the form and paid the fees in turn I got a receipt which I was told was to have it sent in with my application which I did ... so now im confused as to what proof of payment is required ?

another thing I would like to know is that I my mom and sisters are here visiting me and they are leaving back for Mississauga next week .. if by any chance I do get the proof that is requested then could they deliver it for me or would I have to send it myself ?

can anyone help me out please ? as I have 45 days to send ....

Also ive been trying to call the CIC toll free number which they had sent but that isn't going through either ... would anyone have any other number

CIC often lose documents just because of the sheer volume they receive. Hopefully you took a copy and you can forward this on to CIC with a covering letter stating that you have already sent the original. Your family won't be able to deliver it unfortunately. Generally paying online by CC is the safest option as you get a receipt emailed to you directly.
