Proof of medicals using e-medicine number

I had got my medicals done ( family and myself) in December 2014 by a CIC approved doctor in India for my Canadian work permit. Now I have an ITA through EE - FSW. Unfortunately I don't have the receipts from the earlier medicals , but the doctor's office gave me the e-medicine reference numbers. They are refusing to issue any receipt or supporting documents. Currently am in Canada, and have to apply by end of August.

Question; can I use the existing e-medicine numbers as a reference, drafting LOE explaining the situation or should I get medicals done again?

You might need to do over the medicals. Remember that they're only valid for one year and CIC can take up to 6 months to process applications.

Are you sure you don't have a scanned copy of the receipt.
