My spouse already has a permanent resident application in progress (family class sponsorship) and she is trying to apply for a temporary resident visa to visit Canada.

One of the eligibility questions is: "Have you had a medical exam performed by a CIC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?"

If you say No, there is no need for proof of medical exam (less than 6 month visit).
If you say Yes, they ask for Proof of medical exam.

In our case, the answer is Yes, she already performed the medical exam in Havana, less than 12 months ago.

Does that mean that she needs to go to the same doctor and get a copy of the document that was attached to the sponsorship package? Is the fee similar to the one paid first time?

I was wondering if someone had a similar experience. Thank you...
