Proof of Means of Financial Support

My husband is an American in Canada on a visitor visa, and we're working on extending his visitor status as it runs out next month.

When applying online, they request that he have proof of means of financial support, however I (his wife) am the one working and supporting us.

Should I just upload a copy of my own employment letter? Will they accept that even though its for me and not him?

Yes, he can say his wife is supporting him and show proof of your income; this is common for visiting spouses. If your employment letter isn't recent and doesn't show what you're earning, you may want to upload your most recent pay slip as well.
