Proof Of Marriage for PR Inland

I am sure this has been answered but after spending an hour looking I cant seem to find an answer for my situation.

I am a Canadian Citizen and I live in BC.

My Fiance is Filipino and has lived in Alberta for 3 years.

We have been in a committed relationship for 2 1/2 years long distance but she has visited me about 5 times and stayed with me for a month straight on one visit.

We will be getting married in September or Oct this year.

We skype daily and Viber all throughout the day every day.

We want a very small wedding just my Dad and my brother and maybe a niece of mine.

Is CIC going to look at this as a fraudulent marriage.

How do we prove we are in love without all the expense and going into debt when all we want to do is start our lives out of debt.

There are certain countries where traditional marriage is a big deal to CIC, I don't think the Philippines is one of them, but I could be wrong on that. Regardless, do a good job explaining your situation and why you choose your particular wedding. But, are you sure you want to apply inland? I think outland Manila is a lot faster.

We want to do inland because of the pilot program for OWP it takes 4 months that way she can work here sooner.

Yes, but consider the extreme time difference between the two, and the fact that she shouldn't leave the country for about 2 years. Some Manila VO apps are processed in 5 months, compared to years and years with inland. Just take it into careful consideration. There is a thread for Manila you can ask in as well.

This is the maximum time for 80% of cases. Most are processed much quicker.

Ignore the posted processing times for outland. My wife's case was listed as 30 months at the time, but she got her PR visa in about 5 months processing time. If you have a straightforward case with minimal red flags, your file will go very quickly as well. Therefore, if you have an easy case, you should definitely go outland. After she gets her PR visa in a short time, she can start working right after she lands and gets her SIN.

As the others have said, outland times are worst-case scenarios and don't apply to most people. If you need more proof, check out the 2015 spreadsheet link in my signature. Assuming your wife's app gets sent to Manila, there are several people one there already landed. Some applied in January and had their visa in 5 months.

If you have no dependants, no legal issues, and a well-done concise app you can probably expect good processing times. Compare that to waiting years. Unlike outland, the inland processing times are more accurate. It's always a risk though, as there are no guarantees as to the time it will take. But, even if it did take 17 months that is still almost a year less than inland.

What status has she been here on for the 3 years?

Thanks for the valuable info.

My fiance has been here on a working permit. Her work permit will expire May 2016.

She does have 3 dependents 2 girls and a boy that will turn 19 in Dec this year.

Another question. Is it possible for her to continue working in Alberta if we get married or is that a red flag since I am in BC.

WE are planning that she moves here to BC and we get married then apply for her and her dependents PR.

Financially we can do it however it will be a little bit of a struggle while she is supporting her kids back in the Philippines.
