Hi fellas,
I am an international student in Canada, intending to apply for FSW (Category 3).
It is written in document check list that I should submit the followings along my forms to CIO:

-Proof that you have been legally residing in Canada for at least 12 month immediately before submitting your application,
-Study permit and enrollment letter from University,

I am just wondering what can I submit as my proof of "legally residing in Canada for at least 12 month"?
Also, does it mean that I hadnt' leave Canada in the 12 month period before the submission?

Thank you

Proof of legal residence can vary by country of citizenship. For example, some need a residence permit in addition to a work permit, others need just a work permit. If you have been a student the whole time your study permit should suffice. If you give us more details (country of citizenship, residency status) we might be able to help more.

You must have been a resident for the 12 months preceding the application. You can leave temporarily, like for a short trip, but not "move out".

If you're a student, your permit should suffice, however, you may present additional info like the bail for your appartment, your passport with your first entry stamp, grades for the past 2 semesters, bank history statement (up to 12 months). You get the 12 months regardless if you went out for summer to your country as well.

HI,
thank you
Actually I am from Iran, and I am here on Study permit whole time,
The checklist asks the proof in addition to study permit, so I have been confused.
