Hello,

I have a question about the English proficiency proof that one needs to attach with the application. I did Celpip-G for my PR status, unfortunately I sent my only physical copy with the application. That exam is already expired so I assume it won't be possible to request another copy of the results to anyone.

I ama university professor and I write scientific papers in Engish and teach at the university. Is there any way I can avoid taking another exam? or should I jsut take the blow and take the CELPIP-LS exam?

Thank you so much in advance again! :)

If I remember correctly, the certificate can be expired. So as long as they provide you another copy, you should be fine.

HI,

As far as I know you can send a copy of your test result.
I did it and received AoR.

In some cases, you may send test results that you already sent to us or the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI). We’ll accept the test results that you sent with your application for:
  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Quebec-selected Skilled Worker

Yes. You may send the same third-party language testresults from your immigration application with your application for citizenship. There is no expiration date for third-party language test results for citizenship applicants.

My own personal experience:

I did my IELTS (i guess in 2010) and it expired after 2 years. I submitted my original with the immigration application. The only which i had was a photocopy. I submitted that photocopy with the citizenship application and they accepted it. Hope this will help.
