Proof of Funds

Hi everyone, i am a bit confused about the proof of funds. If anyone can clarify it, i appreciate it. When i was filling the form for express entry i submitted that i have X amount of funds. I received the ITO with CEC and in my list of required documents there is "proof of means of financial support" however in canadian immigration website it states that
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if

• you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
• you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program

I am currently out of job and i was planning using my savings so my bank statement will show less amount than i stated initially. Basically i want to know if it is a risky move not to provide the bank statements?
