Is there anybody who submitted their proof of funds from Questrade account? I am holding a TFSA account where I have abt 8000 CAD and I need this money as part of proof of fund for EE. But I am not sure what kind of document from Questrade would satisfy for proof of funds. Thank you.

You’re right. But the I
Tbh. You do not need any proof of funds if you're applying under CEC. OR if you're authorised to work in Canada right now. Says so right here

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1145&top=29

Otherwise you will need proof of funds.
You’re right. But IRCC website is asking for proof of funds and I think it is because their system found me also eligible for FSW, not only CEC. So their documents list for me obviously has ‘proof of funds’ and I am afraid to ignore it for the reason that I am only applying for CEC. Can I ignore?

Read carefully what stream it is in your ITA letter. CEC no need POF.

Check your ITA they write down which program they're inviting you under. I qualified for both, but was invited under CEC. Also, even if you are invited under FSW, you still do not need a proof of funds if you are currently authorised to work in Canada. They ask for proof of funds from everyone. People exempt from providing proof of funds just have to write a letter of explanation and upload it to the "proof of fund" part of your application. Thats what I did at least.

I just checked my ITA and it does say that I was invited to apply under CEC. I will do as you all did. Thank you so much!

Originally, I had shown my POF through YES Bank account. After YES Bank went bankrupt in March 2020, I immediately transferred the funds to my mom's account (joint account with me) and dad's account. I had to do it ASAP as couldn't take any risk of bankruptcy again + could not go to open a new account due to unwelcoming pandemic. My COPR expired after that.
Now I am about to fill the new RTT web form. Do I need to open a new account under my name, transfer funds and show all these fund movements?
