Proof of funds

Hi Guys,


Need your help with the following query:
I am the Primary applicant and my wife is accompanying me as spouse. My last date to submit Express entry profile is 29 Dec'18. We have a joint account which has a balance of around 19000 CAD. The issue is that around 8000 CAD has been recently transferred to our joint account from her individual account. My question is:
1. Do I need to get an affidavit or gift deed letter from her for this particular transaction ??
2. Do I need to show 6 months bank statement for my wife's separate account as well ??

given the funds are moved from your wife's account no need to get any other statement. just explain that in LOE and it should be fine.

You should submit the bank statements of primary applicant only. Usually they don't care how funds comes to your account , since you have joint account , just get statements of that and submit, it would be fine. The proof of funds is to prove that you guys can sustain in Canada once you come.
