Hi,

Can the principal applicant use the funds held by the accompanying dependants as proof of funds e.g. can the principal applicant provide his bank statements along with his spouse' bank statements as proof of funds?

Or will the principal applicant's bank statements only be used as proof of funds?

We used joint bank account as proof of funds for both of us. Not sure if that's what you are asking. Same account, same proof of funds, but used for 2 adults, 2 children.

Depends who the dependents are - our 2 children were not required to show bank statements of their own!

The overall total you should show will change according to the number of people supposedly expected to live on said funds though!

My lawyer had us show 10k for the family. I believe 6k for an individual..
