Hi everyone,
I've received an ITA a week back and I'm now in the process of obtaining all the necessary documents. I have read multiple threads with similar inquiries about the requirements for the proof of funds but my doubts still remain. My dad will be transferring a fixed deposit to my name with the required amount. What would I require as per CIC- a certificate from the bank with the details of the fixed deposit and a legal document which says the fixed deposit is a gift and does not need to be returned? Or would I also have to submit a 6 month bank statement (which technically I wouldn't be able to provide for the same period as I will be opening a new account at my dad's bank).
Thanks in advance!
